Multi Slides
Our modern production department features US Baird Multi-Slide machines capable of high speed forming and stamping. Any type of operation that can be accomplished in a conventional progressive die can be completed as well or better in a multi-slide. Dies in a multi-slide can dwell, and during the dwell phases other operations can be completed by the auxiliary slides. A few of the advantages of having your parts produced on a multi-slide include: (a) tooling cost as much as 50% less (b) parts can be produced as fast as 180 strokes per minute (c) machines being cam driven are capable of producing parts with extremely close tolerances (d) parts of higher degrees of complexities can be produced This converts into cost savings, which is what we all are striving for in today’s competitive market. |
